Holy Cow!
I just tuned in to the Milblog Conference Live feed just as Matt is introducing SGT Hook!!
When SGT Hook started up Operation Shoefly in Afghanistan, I was District President again for the 6th. As my special project, I had asked the ladies of the 6th to help collect children's shoes to send to the good SGT. By the end of the year,(June) we had shipped over 800 pairs. In fact, when we shipped boxes last Saturday, we sent another 154 pairs, because there are units still carrying on his good work.

Heh! Sgt Hook is so cool. We hijacked him for a few hours on Friday. He is just tres, tres cool. ;-)
